Having trouble with a slice ? To help get rid of this destroying shot look for a golf club with the following features:- LARGE HEAD & MORE LOFT A large head is required along with a generous amount of loft. A large club head has a more forgiving bigger sweetspot helping to correct any off centre hit. The more loft, the higher the ball will fly, more importantly the more loft the greater amount of back spin is created, this will help combat the side spin placed onto the ball during a sliced shot. Therefore, look for 12 degree mid or oversized drivers. MORE FLEX & SHORTER SHAFT The sliced golf shot is caused as we know, when the club head strikes the ball in an open position. The easiest way to get the club head back to the ball in a square position is to employ a golf shaft which will help. If the club head is striking the ball in a open position it is telling you that the shaft has not had time to get the club head square, using a golf shaft with more flex will give the shaft a better chance of reacting before you strike the ball. This will help to stop your slice. It always helps your consistency when you are playing with a shorter shaft, try using a shaft just an ½ inch short and see the difference. THINNER GRIP. The last choice should be the grip, choose a slightly thinner grip. This will encourage the hands to release any tension in the golf grip and help your hands to rotate. TO MINIMISE A SLICE THE CLUBS SHOULD FEATURE LARGE HEAD MORE LOFT MORE FLEX SHORTER SHAFTS THINNER GRIPS The thumbnail pictures below will take you to some recommendations with regard to anti slice clubs
