Tony Howarth (head professional, Myerscough Golf Academy) Tony has over 17 years teaching experience, ranging from complete beginners to PGA European Tour Professional and European Masters winner, Jeff Hawkes. He has become recognised as one of the country's top teaching professionals and has appeared as a guest speaker at the England Junior Golf Partnership seminar, hosted by Sport England at the Belfry. Myerscough Golf Academy is a registered Starter Centre for the Junior Golf Foundation, with over 150 youngsters already enrolled on the Merit Award Scheme. Alongside Tony at Myerscough is Pat Wells and several junior coaches, all committed to raising the level of our young golfers and introducing children to the game from as young as 6 years old. The Golf Foundation Leaders Award, a national qualification allowing members of the public to teach basics to children, can be taken at the Academy. For further details please contact Tony.
